Fish Creek Park
After a bit of a slow start to the day—the bus was an hour behind schedule—we headed way down south to Fish Creek Park. Room 17 spent the remainder of the morning exploring the park, identifying flora and searching desperately for fauna.
In the afternoon, the kids took part in an interpretive journey looking at the history of Fish Creek Park from the Pleistocene age to the present. They sketched wooly mammoths and bison, sat in a life-size Blackfoot tipi, and learned about Fish Creek Park's plan for the future. It was an exciting day!
