- 30 minutes of reading (silent or partner) at least 3 times per week
- 10 minutes of basic fact work (times tables!) at least 3 times per week
This week:
- We work with Tracy Franks again on Monday. After this, we will have one more session with Tracy.
- Paperwork for Grade 6s headed to TB Riley in the fall will go home this week—we are attending an orientation afternoon next Wednesday. Please have the forms completed and returned no later than Monday, April 18. We require two parents to attend. Please get in touch if you are willing and able.
- On Wednesday, Jim Parent from TB Riley will be by with complementary course forms, which we will bring to TB Riley when we attend the orientation next Wednesday.
- Forms for next week's Pizza Lunch are due Thursday, April 14.
- Friday is a full day. It's also Twin/Triplet Day :)
Next week:
- Orff kids will be heading downtown for a daytime concert on Monday, April 18.
- Grade 6s who will be attending TB Riley in the fall will head to TB for an orientation afternoon on Wednesday, April 20. Ms. Hansen will be going with the group—Grade 5s and 6s who will attend Pratt in the fall will be placed in other 5/6 classes for the afternoon.
- On Thursday, we will have our final session with BelPark's Artist in Residence, Tracy Franks.
- Thursday is also Pizza Lunch!
- No school for students on Friday, April 22 or Monday, April 25.
