May 2 to 6

Homework—Must Do
  • 30 minutes of reading (silent or partner) at least 3 times per week
  • 10 minutes of basic fact work (times tables!) at least 3 times per week
A special media consent form is going home today (Friday). We will have representatives from the Alberta Foundation for the Arts Travelling Exhibition Program (TREX) working with our students. They would like to use images of the students and their work in promotional material. Please sign and return the form on Monday, May 9 if you give your consent for your child to be photographed.

    This week:
    • The Craft Sale is on at lunchtime all week in Room 8. No looky loos—you must have cash to enter.
    • This Friday is a full day Friday.
    • It's hot this week, so make sure to bring your water bottle!

    Next week:
    • Presentation for students attending Pratt in the fall on Wednesday afternoon.
    • LA PAT Part I will take place on Thursday, May 12. Although 5s and 6s will write the test (it's a story and a news article), only the 6s work will be sent to Edmonton for assessment.
    • Friday is an early dismissal.
    • There is a ROARS assembly on Friday morning.

    Ask Me:
    • About Jenny's garden and all of her crazy plans for it.
