    May 26 to June 2

Our Kindergarten and Grade 3/4 students in Room 11 had the opportunity to go to Grow Calgary today (beside Canada Olympic Park) to learn about how the volunteer farmers grow produce and about making healthy food choices. While there, the teachers noticed a small band of 4-6 coyotes near the perimeter of the site. Classes went to a safe area, the bus company was contacted and our students were picked up early by the busses and returned to the school. The school contacted Calgary Police Services and Alberta Fish and Wildlife. As always, safety (the S in ROARS!) is always our number one priority and we thank our teachers and volunteers for working to ensure everyone’s safety!
